Friday, July 9 - Light the fire!  24-hour Prayer at CLI

- Details: We challenge our teens to choose an hour on Friday or Saturday and come in to minister unto the Lord in the most important calling they have - P R A Y E R

Saturday, July 10 - Bound 4 Life Prayer Siege!

- Time: 7:00 to 8:45 AM in front of Planned Parenthood

- Details: This is a prayer meeting not a protest.  Do not park in Planned Parenthood's lot.  Dress appropriately for the weather.

Saturday, July 10 - if you can, join us at the Roanoke Airport at 10:00 PM to welcome  back our missions team.

Sunday, July 11 - Awaken goes to Roaring Run (natural water slides, cascades, hiking trail)

- Time: 12:30 we load vans, grab quick lunch, & head out.  Return by 6:30 PM

- Cost: FREE - just bring $ for lunch, or a bag lunch.

- What to bring: Swimsuit (modest), denim shorts, tennis shoes you can get wet, sunscreen, towel, & fresh change of clothes.

- About: Roaring Run is an excellent hiking trail for the whole family, young and old alike.  The easy, well marked trail begins at an historic iron furnace and winds back and forth along the Roaring Run stream. You will pass rock walls, cascading water, and cross five footbridges before ending at beautiful Roaring Run Falls.

Sunday, July 18 - Thursday, July 22 - Vacation Bible School at CLI (with special TEEN ONLY sessions)

- Sunday - Surviving the Jungle of Conflict & Struggle (with live Karate demo)

- Monday - Surviving the Jungle of Love (guest speakers)

- Tuesday - Finding your way through the Jungle of Mission and Purpose (guest speakers)

- Wednesday - WATER WARS - bring water guns & water balloons for an epic battle!

-Thursday - VBS Family festival (note: do NOT bring water balloons or guns on this night!)

 Friday, July 23 - Awaken joins the IHOP "Fascinate" Student Conference via the internet

            - Cost: FREE

            - Time: Service simulcast starts at 7:00 PM

            - What to bring: Dinner, Bible, notebook

- About: This annual high school conference is for a generation of young people who desire to live radical lives of holiness and devotion, and who are seeking the glory of the Lord, that campuses and cities across the earth might be transformed

            - Details: Speakers may include Lou Engle, Jesse Engle, Cory Russell, & Misty Edwards
