"CLI"
as it's known by the homefolks is a thriving Spirit-filled Church nearing 1,000
in active membership. We have members from the cradle to ninety-five years of
age with vibrant and relevant ministries for all ages. All this in a Church
which itself is over 90 years old. Abraham's "Sara" of old may
still miraculously bare children!
God is simply doing amazing things as a truly fresh breath
of His presence is blowing among us. This in a church which is highly family
oriented yet God honoring first and foremost. We believe people are seeking
authenticity, not a watered down Word or hype and flash.
Our ministry is based around a word we believe God gave us,
"Bridge Heaven and Earth". For us, this means connecting people
of every socio-economic group as well as race and culture with the Lord in one
body. We've been told it couldn't be done. God is proving otherwise!
The miracle continues...we'd love to have you be a part!

Christian
Life International is now ready to make the most incredible move of her life as
a Church. Ten years ago we began a new journey as God made possible the
purchase of 45 acres of property across from the VA hospital in Salem. There
are 38 acres in the City of Salem and 7 acres in the City of Roanoke.
This
ministry complex has been over four years in the planning and construction
phase. It is a stone building with a full glass front which stretches the
entire length of the commons area. The Children's and Youth wings are modern
with both video and audio capability. Each room has large windows and is brightly
colored. The sanctuary seats 800 comfortably in theater style seating. There
are four projection screens with the most modern digital audio and video
equipment available.
All
this for one purpose, to conduct the kingdom business of God. To reach a 21st century people with the
unchanging Word of God. We are blessed as a Church for a building such as this,
yet it is only a building. It's greater purpose is to both house and release
the ministry of the Lord Jesus.
Please join us Sunday mornings at 10 am and Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Feel free contact our Church offices for more information 343-3801.

August
We
live in a world which is changing at break-neck speed. Never in all of human
history has a single generation seen so much change occurring so rapidly. They
tell us knowledge is now doubling every two years. Technology is advancing so
rapidly that the latest and greatest is now totally outdate after three years.
One fourth of the work force today is now in a new job held less than one year.
Through
out the month of August we will be looking into the subject of how to navigate
the waters of the changing world in which we live. A few of the sermon titles
are:
- "The Inevitability of Change"
- "The Unchangeable One and Your Destiny"
- "Change Agent or Victim of Change"
-
"How
to Make Change Work for Us"
I
believe this series will be life changing for all who hear and apply it's
principles to their lives!
